No. I believe he was into theater/performing and music growing up, so he has joked that he is "girly" and intellectual, but not "musle-y." He has kissed men on stage to be provocative, but has never dated one.

I used to wonder if Cruel Summer might have been written about him. TTPD revealed the depth of Taylor’s feelings over the years and pretty much confirmed that Matty was the one who inspired the lyrics of Cruel Summer.

All of the songs on Folklore and Evermore are in lower case too. So is her album reputation. I am curious about the re-release of that album with the additional Vault songs that will likely be about him.

imgonnagetyouback has references to his song fallingforyou, which he sang to her at one of The 1975’s concerts years ago.
It has been confirmed that loml is about Matty - the suit and tie reference, talking tings and talking cradles that she also mentions in the song TTPD etc.
