DP - no, of course there isn't. This poster is making it up. The only indication that door opens inward is the statement from the article that "she slammed it shut," which would be a slightly odd thing to say if the door swung outward, but doesn't tell us either way.

Not really. You're forgetting that she saw the gunman and had called 911. Those doors often have a slow or delayed close mechanism. If you want it to close fast then you need to pull it hard.

My guess is that Councilman Chief Pete tried to pin it on the teacher and that's why he stopped cooperating on Sunday.

But she was already back in her classroom after getting the phone and calling 911. The door isn't THAT dang slow

They closed the door. Texas DPS publicly confirmed this today. PP had said it was odd to use the phrase "slammed shut" for an outward swinging door.

Something must really not be good because this means the police have lied each time they've talked. Why would someone lie about something so easily disprovable? That's just stupid.

And I have to say the Republicans aren't offering a whole lot for our kids at this point. But I'm also one of those who doesn't think reading a book about gay and lesbian couple is going to turn either of my children. Gay. If they're going to be gay, they're going to be gay no matter what they read.
I know none of my gay friends turned straight after watching rom-coms or reading novels about straight people. So I'm pretty sure that's not how this works.

Well republicans will ban gay books but not guns. They also refuse to pay for school safety. Republicans want the democrats who do not have guns to pay for hardening of school. Texas the whole state has little to no mental health professionals. Why can’t the gun nuts pay for their on treatment?

Have you seen or heard the mayor and head of school police for that town? They are walking talking Fox News patriots. The police chief just got sworn in as a councilman. They do not give a sh#t about what “libs” or non white people’s kids. 40% of the towns budget was for police who never showed up…too busy tracking down “illegals”.
