I'm sure Belichick has way more money than that. He was the highest paid coach in the NFL for years. He made hundreds of millions on salary alone. And I'm sure he has all sorts of other investments that bring in money.

They have a couple of houses valued altogether <3 million.
They're in their 50's. UMC.

Didn't realize the public has access to his investment accounts. Anyone with >20k in horses, who doesn't do that as a living, is f-ing rich. Yeah, I totally believe $50M+ given his job and his wife's job. Let's not also forget people in his line of work are more conservative with their money/investments than in finance or Big Law - there is less pressure to live a certain life. I'm in his line of work, make significantly less and am worth maybe (not quite) an order of magnitude less, which still puts me in the 1% wealth category - and I'm more a cog than a leader.
