Both BRYC Girls and Boys should be dropped to ECNL-R. Neither can put a competitive team on the field.
|
| I don't think you can just drop one gender. Anyhow, why would ECNL drop a source of funds? |
| they should be dropped. they are just seen as an easy win. It can't be fun for the BRYC teams either. |
Oh I thought it was about development…lol |
| Dropping BRYC would be terrible for ECNL as a whole. Whole clubs being ousted for a few bad years is very short sighted. There is no pro/rel system, so if they did do well at some point in the RL league, then they'd never be allowed back into the ENCL proper. Someone has to be last and it's just that they are missing one or two pieces. I will agree, it's infinitely harder on the girls and parents than anyone else. (I'm not a BRYC parent) |
| Beach is best in VA ECNL R. I think they should be given ECNL. |
The entire Club is in last, not just a few age groups. NoVA is over saturated with ECNL and GA. BRYC will never gain ground. They have also yet to show even a slight level of improvement at any age group to warrant any hope of improving. We just have to many “elite” options and not enough players to make all of them competitive. |
I don't think they would consider dropping the girls if their boys were good, but since their boys aren't, I could see them dropping either just the girls or both. The boys were also terrible last year, but have two age groups U14 and U15 that could possibly make the national playoffs this year. Not saying they have a great chance, but having a chance is a big improvement from last year. |
Entire club has an issue and it is not talent. Girls and boys teams not doing well across all ages. When the club accepts that there is an issue and that needs some upgrades things could change. |
Doesn't work like that - this isn't regulation - ECNL-R is NPL and not a stepping block When it began - VA had a ECNL club. It was one of the few clubs to ever be kicked out for poor performance. Virginia will not get another club unless they start dropping some NOVA clubs - which honestly they should drop at least one |
| VDA should be dropped before BRYC. |
|
The BRYC U13-17 teams have won a combined 1 game this year. They did the same last year.
The future isn't looking good. |
VDA is in first place in two age groups and as a club is 38 Wins, 31 Losses, and 13 Ties. BRYC's best age group is in 9th place and as a club is 11 Wins, 62 Losses, and 10 Ties. Is there a reason you think VDA should be dropped before BRYC? |
The ECNL won’t move a Club out of the league without a strong reason. BRYC is all in on the ECNL. Boys and Girls. If anything they would encourage the club to partner up to field stronger groups |
