As a Democrat, it all feels hopeless.

No one wants to repeal a woman’s right to work and get an education.

Why don’t you familiarise yourself with Project 2025 main goals

- the complete elimination of the Department of Education

- complete abortion ban

- the department of Health and Human Services should "maintain a biblically based, social science-reinforced definition of marriage and family".

- It proposes to eliminate a long list of terms from all laws and federal regulations, including "sexual orientation", "gender equality", "abortion" and "reproductive rights"

- aims to end diversity, equity and inclusion programs in schools and government departments

From your link, but of course you know this:

Trump has disavowed the document.
"I know nothing about Project 2025," Trump posted on his social media website, Truth Social. "I have no idea who is behind it. I disagree with some of the things they're saying and some of the things they’re saying are absolutely ridiculous and abysmal."

Because we know Trump always tells the truth.

It doesn’t get more clear than his statement, not to mention he doesn’t take kindly to people trying to determine who his appointees will be.

So tell me...what is a "moderate" to do? I feel hopeless for our entire nation...we are doomed either way.

Nothing about Trump/Vance is moderate.

What has Biden done that is so "extreme"? It seems to me, a fellow moderate, things are pretty good.

If you want to continue to have a country where your vote is actually counted, then vote Democratic. I feel like I owe it to all the people who've died for that cause over the last almost 250 years.

First off, how can he say he disagrees with some of the things they are saying.....if he claims "I know nothing about Project 2025." He literally contradicts himself in the same sentence! Secondly, makes you wonder what things he does agree with.

Nothing about Biden/Harris is moderate either. That's the problem. We'll just have to agree to disagree.

Not voting is a statement too.

That would be awesome --- everyone start a "DO NOT VOTE" movement --- to prove a point. Oh how I wish this would work...but alas we don't have enough smart people in our nation.

The thing that changed for me was after the debate was the genuine shock at Biden's senility coming from democratic elites, something frankly a left-tail construction worker spotted 4 years ago without any help from ideological bias. That being me

These people are high on their own supply, it shows

I'm not saying there aren't some plots and coordination and ops that the do. But they spread the same paranoid delusions to traffic to their normies, and the fact that Biden never saw a primary challenger is proof.

The democrats continue to spread their paranoia (Trump will lock gays in camps, he’s a fascist, he will lead us into WW3) but it only matters if you can get your normies to play along. They’ve whipped their base into a frenzy for 8 years, it's their only asset. Any relenting on that tactic would just reveal Trump to be what he is--kind of a moderate. They have to continue is this path otherwise the jig is up and people will see them for what they really are…lying elitist pigs

Biden will lose not because he is old and senile. He will lose because by just about every metric the average American is poorer and less safe than they were 4 years ago. Sure the stock market is surging which is great for the elites, but the majority of Americans are not invested. They are getting absolutely crushed by high inflation and housing costs.

They aren’t. Biden isn’t in charge. People see that. I’m a construction worker with a degree at least but I see it. That begs the question of who is in charge?

Biden is senile, Harris is far from competent. Neither can string a sentence together and both are blind to their ultra radical leftist masters.

Trump is a bull in a china shop but you know what you’re getting. He’s a moderate in terms of politics, he’s a populist which a lot of Americans agree with, he’s been the victim of a witch hunt by elites for eight years and people see it and now he’s been shot by a lunatic who was inspired by the hatred and awful rhetoric from the democrat praetorian guard.

They’ve tried to lock him up, tie him to Russia, say he’s a fascist, take him off ballots, relentlessly attack him in the media who lies, spied on his campaign, used fake dossiers, say he’s going to lock gays in camps, lewd us into WW3 (no new wars when he was in charge BTW) and now he’s been shot and gets up, tells people to fight for what’s right and gets his shoes and walks away . Biden can’t walk down stairs - or up them - without falling.

His words? Nope, we judge by his actions. And these are people who were already his appointees. To believe he’s not going to bring in those who he has already worked with and with whom he maintains close ties strains credulity.

Who cares? The US is an oligarchy no matter who gets elected. Musk, Thiel, and Edelson along with their flunkies run it. We have zero representation. Just a total manipulation.

So, to sum up your voting strategy: Might makes right.

Read Project 2025 and tell me why you want that as a governing policy? I cannot fathom, even with a might makes right attitude toward life, why you want to actively harm your self and others.

And grocery costs and high interest rates along with credit card debt. You are right. Biden also cut Medicare Advantage a few months ago right before an election and blocked military raises . Optics wise it’s as if he wants to lose . He’s out of here . The map will be worse this time than 2016 and we all have Biden to blame for it not Trump. He refused to step down and let a younger fresher more electable Democrat take the reins . A man with dementia or Parkinson’s should not even be going through the rigor of a campaign let alone presiding over the US and speaking to foreign dignitaries embarassing the country with foolish gaffes
