Agreed. #7 on Yorktown is now Yorktown’s all time leading scorer with over 212 career points and most of the season left to play. #2 on Langley has over 200 points as well. The Yorktown freshman had at least a hat trick and a Langley sophomore had six goals tonight including the 2OT game winner. Lots of good things to talk about.

As of this morning only a few teams had quality wins. McLean, Yorktown and Langley didn’t have one eother but no one is saying they shouldn’t be ranked. I saw Cosby play Atlee and they look like a good team - certainly better than the bottom of the current top 10.

Hudson Green is a solid player but he's easy to guard. He's overrated and receives a lot of spotlight because Yorktown has no scoring threats and Madlax has been posting him for many years whenever they cover public school lax.

The Yorktown freshman attackman is tough. He's like a mouse- petite, agile, and quick.

Not a Yorktown fan but this makes no sense. If there are no other threats and every team is game planning for him, yet he is obliterating Yorktowns scoring record, then he is probably not easy to guard.

I hope Langley can find an answer for McLean’s offensive middies…they have been unstoppable. Focus too much on one and the other will burn you…

It used to be just #3 but other guys seem to be stepping up. I watched the first half of the Sidwell game and #4 looked tough too.

Not to take anything away from Westfield or South Lakes, but what happened to Oakton. Do they have significant injuries? Or just no chemistry?

I think it will be just a small bump in the road as they figure things out. Should cruise through Centreville. Remember in the beginning of the season they played Yorktown very closely.

Do we get to train and play year around like mommy and daddy enable you to do? Play with more advanced equipment like you have and we didn’t. First rain game and your leathers get wet, you would have no idea on how to adjust your pocket.

You should be a little more grateful for those that came before you and enabled this to be a sport only from Long Island, Upstate and Annapolis to be enjoyed by you today here. Without the ground work we laid 20-30 years ago and the money we supply today you are playing baseball or soccer.

well said. I was a HS and college player 3-4 decades ago, and my son's current HS team would definitely boat race my own HS team, and maybe my college team. That makes me incredibly proud, to be honest.

Honest feedback. Was the Langley-Yorktown game close because they are both really good or because they are both mediocre? In all honesty I think McLean is going to breeze through the Library District. They have all the pieces this year and other teams seem to be missing some.

I am not going to say either team is good or bad in totality based on what I watched last night.

However for that game, neither team was impressive and clearly in the 2nd tier of 6A.
