Not if we had a ref from the 80's. You young bucks would not know what hit you and there would not be a flag.

Both mediocre, and they exposed some glaring weaknesses in each other. Some of the weaknesses are personnel, which won't be fixed in a month, but some are fixable - inability to clear, unforced turnovers on offense, and inability to pick up GB's.

If they fix those weaknesses, both teams could be worth watching in May when it matters, especially Langley because they have a better face off game.

If McLean has elite players at every position, then congratulations to Mclean, they are the first public school I have seen in a long time who can say that.

Why didn’t number 0 from Langley play at all last night? Wasn’t he one of their better players last year? He was suited up but never went in. Seems like he would have made a difference in a one goal game, no?

Let's not get carried away. McLean has a good defense and goalie and two good midfielders. They are not lighting the world on fire.

The Library District isn't good anyway.

THIS. I wasn't implying that Mclean has superstars everywhere, but they are solid on both ends of the field while Yorktown and Langley seem to have some holes...

I will say that this is most likely the stand out of the evening. The FO three from Langley were better than Yorktown. On 50/50 situations Langley clearly wanted the ball more. It wasn’t that the FoGo play was clearly better, but that the unit working to secure possession wanted it more.

Liberty district is the best district, prove me wrong

He is a great player, and is injured. He will be back.

No question it is the deepest. Three teams in the top 6-7. Patriot district has one relevant team, Concorde has one relevant team, Cedar Run has two.

Think they were making fun of the guy who called it the Library District.

PP here - exactly - that is why I said "face off game" and not Fogo. It will take all three working together to neutralize the Robinson fogo, and based on last night Langley was better.

The Langley parents are insufferable both on and off the field, and the apples don't fall far from the trees.

What did the Langley parents say here that offended you so?

+1
in my experience, the Langley parents are among the nicest in the lacrosse community, both in person and on this Board. the insufferable posts, at least lately, have been from people rooting against Langley.
