Not to take anything away from Westfield or South Lakes, but what happened to Oakton. Do they have significant injuries? Or just no chemistry?

Hahahaha I knew Langley was gonna win. The donkeys in here who thought they weren’t top 5 will definitely be happy to admit they were wrong. Mclean will get EXPOSED.

I think Oakton is a fairly weak team that had a stud LSM last year that covered up for a lot.

South Lakes was missing 4 starters tonight and still had 4 different players score. Oakton is still really only Nick Baltas. If you can limit him the others are manageable.

Both games, stupid mistakes. So many unforced errors, clearing has been brutal. Oakton parent here. Also seemed to get outworked in both, taking these teams for granted. That being said, WF and SL were much better than I thought based on their results. Never thought we’d be losing the ground ball battle to south lakes!

fan of neither but I do think Yorktown had the better talent and overall played better. Just a close game all around and honestly I expect those 2 back for the district chip

There was nothing redeeming about this game for either team. Poor, poor, D on both sides. Late/ No slides. Failed clear after failed clear on both sides. YT FO crew can’t scoop a ground ball, Langley can. Dropped passes and poor throws.

Yorktown drops to 8/9 and Battlefield5, Cosby6 and Langley7move up one

Haters gonna hate. Both teams a little sloppy but it was a fun game to watch.

The first three quarters had a plethora of unforced turnovers by SL offense, that’s why they were down 6-1 in the 3rd. Heck of a comeback.

No way Yorktown drops to 8-9.

If quality wins matter, why do we rank Cosby top 10? Has anyone in here seen them play? I’ll admit I haven’t.

Let’s see what happens with Langley/McLean before we get crazy.

Sad how many old people come in here and crap on the current generation of nova lax players. There’s kids reading this, do you really need to come online anonymously and tell them how bad they are? Just unnecessary. You can give analysis without calling high school kids bums.
