2030 Girls Lacrosse

Maybe the girls that showed up to tryouts are considering GC.

Sounds like he can form a true 2030 All-Star team. Too bad they won't play any tough competition in the tournaments they play.

Yes, and those from Rebels/Renegades.

He could fill this team with just the talented girls from Hero’s, MDU, and BLC who tried out but I wonder if he’ll try to spread the wealth.

I guess it will be interesting to see. If he goes for talent I can’t imagine anybody from Renegades makes it if you had a lot of good players from MDU, Heros and BLC there.

I bet it’s not a true A & B, given it’s a tryout and you can miss top kids and that he has to be political I can see two equal teams that would demolish every team they faced.

That could make sense if it’s not a true A&B team. They would legitimately embarrass teams.

Don't think there will be a lot of A level competition in the tournaments they play. It only makes sense to create 2 balanced teams if those 2 teams will play each other in the tournaments.

Otherwise just stick with 1 team.

I don't think they could create 2 teams without watering it down. There were enough to fill one MD Select team. Maybe a couple girls would get left out, but it should be a premier team.

I don't think they could create 2 teams without watering it down. There were enough to fill one MD Select team. Maybe a couple girls would get left out, but it should be a premier team.

IMO there were enough for two premier teams. That field was loaded with talent.

I doubt many top parents would accept a spot on a "B" Maryland Select team. They were there to be an "A" team.

Thankfully, they had coaches there with lacrosse experience.

I don't know about that, but if that team isn't 75% Hero's M&D MDU kids, then it wasn't based on merit.

M&D kids play on nations best. I didn’t see any but maybe there were some there.

BLC, YJ, and Coppermine girls were also there. There was enough talent that there will be deserving girls left out.
