To SJC partisans: Is that report accurate?

Seems high (unprecedented?), but solid accomplishment for those boys. Even if they don't play much beyond mop-up time, practicing every day with the older players will benefit them, long-term.

SJC - 7/8 Freshman
Bullis - 4 Freshman
PVI - 5/6 Freshman
Prep - 4 Freshman
GZ - ??
EHS - 2 Freshman

Not a bad class or lots of departures in the upper class for example replacing 22 seniors for SJC.

There are no freshman that will be impact players. The fact that so many are being put on SJC varsity is more a reflection that this team lacks depth and will likely struggle this season.

They haven’t really been struggling in this preseason.

McD LSM is not 20. If he turned 19 prior to 9/1 he would be ineligible to play in the MIAA

Neutral Observer Here"

Some IAC and WCAC squads kick off their seasons today and some pretty intriguing games

PVI @ Loyola Blakefield
DeMatha@ Prep
STA @ Severn

Neutral Predictions:

PVI over Loyola: 10 - 8
Prep over DeMatha: 13 - 7
Severn over STA: 9 - 7

Good luck players and coaches!

Agree with two of the three:
Loyola over PVI: 12 - 7
Prep over DeMatha: 15 - 8
Severn over STA: 11 - 8

No way prep scores more than 10 goals. Team is kinda weak.

Kabari will put up 5 goals himself. I think Prep has the firepower to find 5 other goal scorers

How did Bullis do vs McDonough?

Heard some lax kids got expelled from Gonzaga. Anyone know if this is true?

Happens every year, just seems a little earlier than usual.

Bullis struggled in the first half. I believe they were down by at least half. They did better in second half.

Yes, 2 lax players were kicked out earlier this week.

Why? How many kids get kicked out of Gonzaga each year? Sounds like it happens fairly frequently.

Did any of the Bullis freshmen get in? How'd they look? They have a freshman goalie I know from my son's club yrs, wondering if he got some PT. They've had a nice pipeline from Fracyon to Ferguson, wondering what comes next.
