Ladies - did you switch to a short haircut for career reasons?

Thanks.

No. I've always had very long hair and it's never been an issue in my male-dominated field. Although I wear it up 90% of the time so maybe that makes it read differently?

If by “career reasons” you mean being too busy to deal with long hair then yes?

Short hair looks awful on most women.

Yes - to save time in the mornings. Also, for the more professional look. Long hair is fine but it is more common to see short-haired sr management ladies.

That’s what my spouse says but I’m considering the switch — from despite housewives look to ghost look.

In my industry (IT) nobody has short hair. But regardless I wouldn’t change my hair for this reason
Anonymous
No, it's because I'm lazy and my hair is neither straight nor curly enough to be predictable and easy when long.

This.

You have to have an gorgeous face to pull it off or else you just look butch.

All the women I know with short hair end up looking very butch. Not a fan.

No, I havent
Anonymous
No and the woman execs at my company have medium or long hair. I’ve had short hair and it takes longer to style. I certainly wouldn’t do it for time-saving purposes.
Anonymous
No, but my hair is bra strap length.
