Did you even read slide 2 and slide 3? Basically, the grade is "grade for most" and players may play up if appropriate and finding the right fit. |
The injury part often gets overlooked. |

I still think this one ...
11v11 = U18/U19 = 8/1/2007 + younger (May include Senior/Junior) 11v11 = U17 = 8/1/2009 + younger (May include Senior/Junior/Sophomore) 11v11 = U16 = 8/1/2010 + younger (May include Junior/Sophomore/Freshman) 11v11 = U15 = 8/1/2011 + younger (May include Sophomore/Freshman/8th grade) 11v11 = U14 = 8/1/2012 + younger (May include Freshman/8th grade/7th grade) 11v11 = U13 = 8/1/2013 + younger (May include 8th grade/7th grade/6th grade) 11v11 = U12 = 8/1/2014 + younger (May include 7th grade/6th grade/5th grade) 9v9 = U11 = 8/1/2015 + younger (May include 6th grade/5th grade/4th grade) 9v9 = U10 = 8/1/2016 + younger (May include 5th grade/4th grade/3rd grade) 7v7 = U9 = 8/1/2017 + younger (May include 4th grade/3rd grade/2nd grade 7v7 = U8 = 8/1/2018 + younger (May include 3rd grade/2nd grade/1st grade 4v4 = U7 = 8/1/2019 + younger (May include 2nd/grade/1st grade/kindergarten) 4v4 = U6 = 8/1/2020 + younger (May include 1st grade/kindergarten/Pre-school) |

In the 2026–2027 school year, children born after August 1, 2010, will generally be entering 10th grade (Sophomore year) or 11th grade (Junior year), depending on their specific birth month and your local district's cutoff date.

Not sure if you think it's cool that you're including white text coloring. I just notice that, scroll on by and have no idea what above even means! |
That's simple and fair as long as you include the first line. |
He clearly doesn't bother to read what he finds. Most if not all of the info to go against grades has been from his citations in posts, like the guy who said under the previous SY about 5 percent of players were misaligned Aug kids. |

Another Facebook thread where a parent with a Seotember birthday kid is asking about what to do this fall. All the comments suggest playing up so they're not misaligned when its time for college recruiting. Im starting ti see a pattern here. |
Mathematically wrong doesnt address all edge caess. |
There's no perfect age matrix for this country other than listing the ages with sending people to link describing all the possibilities concerning grade (if one cares). |
Yea I added a watermark so when age guy cuts and pastes my work he shows everyone how dumb he is. |
Um yes there is and its been posted on this thread multiple times. |

Oh yeah, ALL the comments ... She is in a great spot because she will be one of the oldest on her team so likely bigger and faster. Statistically the kids in the oldest 1/3 of any age banding do better and get more playing time in athletics. My kid was part of the first switch from Aug cut off to birth year. She will adjust and be just fine. |
