^--- if that is LB, I have a question. Did you notify CCL of all the missing teams, or did you leave that out?

Current LMVSC parent. Some posters are referencing the academy style training. I know that for my kids’ teams - this is not happening as promised. Red is red - one side of field. White totally separate. Red doesn’t have enough players? Oh, take whoever you need from white. They’ll play with few subs so red can fill their roster. This has always been the MO of LMVSC. My child plays for the red team - but we were told they’d all practice together so the players know each other and have no issues being fluid. Once again, the club claims to do something and then simply doesn’t live up to it. And let me say it’s been a real treat paying for new uniforms that haven’t arrived. Our training jerseys with ironed on numbers help us look so put together. I’m so over it all. I really love the current coaches, but the leadership is driving loyal families away in mass quantities.

potential issue? missing 2002, 2004, 2005, 2009 boys? missing 2002, 2003, 2004, 2006, 2007, 2008 girls? there's no "potential issue", there's "a club that is falling apart".

Right. And if CCL wants to boot them then they will. Unless you all are CCL or LMVSC board members your opinion really is moot. None of this impacts my child so I’ll let those people that run league sort it out. But you spend your time and energy debating it here.

Okay, poster at 1:39am, let me introduce a new perspective: the club provides a service to its paying members. "They'll figure it out without our expert opinions" is what put us here in the first place. Do you think we wanted to lose EM, PM, JO, and the rest of the coaches? Because entire TEAMS changed clubs, and it wasn't just the red teams. I swear, it feels like we are half the size of what we once were. What about the players that left this season? Do you think it's just an anomaly?

No. And you should leave if you are unhappy. That’s what we did when we were disappointed in the direction of our club. But we didn’t spend our time advocating for the club to be crippled.

Well said Lula, you don't need to explain yourself or LMVSC to no one. Everyone's opinion is meaningless and your amazing leadership throughout the years perfectly demonstrates it.

You’re right about one thing. Your opinion about what CCL should do is worthless. CCL will make the decision in the best interest of its league. Doubt they’ll be checking this board for expertise.

To be crippled? As if we aren’t already? We have literally less than half of the players as we did two years, and most of the players that left were red teams.

LC is DS coach, and also the TD for the club who came up with the brilliant idea of an academy—just like you, we also split up red and white every session. I don’t care anymore... LC shoved his way in, removed our previous coach RL, and has since driven away so many of our players. We stayed for DS son but we OVER IT. He’s an okay travel coach but I wouldn’t hire him as a private trainer, and overall I’m so let down by him as a coach and director.

Any age group that actually has two teams will probably be down to one next season. For all the age groups currently at one team only, get ready to find a new club.

Best Decision SYC made was giving Lee Chang to LMVSC. At this rate none of the teams he coaches will win. LMVSC use to win a lot more last year and was competitive in CCL. I bet all the players are going to go to SYC and other clubs next year no one wants to play for him not sure how he became a Director.

Kind of harsh to put it all on one person.

Hi Julian.

Where to start? Age group academy for all age groups U9-U14 led by the “academy head coach” and assisted by team coaches. Let’s use your age groups, 2006 and 2007 boys. Rarely, if ever, have we seen the age group train together with a similar practice plan that you spoke of in May. Instead, you have charged each family the same fee (yes, the highest fee for red players) stating that all players will have the same practice and oversight from the coaching staff. This has NOT happened.

Very few of the teams have been competitive in CCL. I didn’t mention winning, simply being competitive. Should this lie on 1 persons shoulders? YES. You are in charge of the travel program and are not making for an experience anyone wishes to continue with. Is this the blame of LB or JC?

And by the way, when is the last time a LMVSC boys team has lost in state cup in the 1st round? VYSA thanks you for the donation.

There are lots of clubs in that area and plenty of former LMVSC players on those teams.

I speak from experience when I say SYC needs to give it a rest in trying to recruit the current LMVSC players (and those who have left for other clubs). My kids left and went to another club (with many LMVSC families). New club didn’t recruit us, but we’re happy to have us. As a customer we are pleased with the coaching, player pool, organization, and respect of parents on the sidelines of the new club.

Curious to hear how you decided on your new club and what pushed you to them over other local clubs? Glad to hear your new experience, sounds like have the important things for fun competitive environment.
