Lie down with dogs, get chopped up by fleas.

It wasn't the Ikhwan that chopped him up, you moron, it was the Al-Saud, who financed the DEATH of Ikhwan in other countries. Moron.

Yeah Moron!

Yeah, but he’s betting that you’re a typical numbskull who will be swayed by what he says . A good half of this country is currently stupid enough to be similarly brainwashed. Keep up the good fight.

I didn't say anything - I posted a link to actual footage of Khashoggi praising the war in Yemen and claiming the Saudi-led war is saving people of Yemen from a "dictatorship" and a "sectarian regime." He did say that you know.

And this is the point. Kh was on the " inside" for most of his life, until the recent power shakeup. If you have always disagreed with a lot of what SA does, then he's no hero himself. Complicating that - he seems to have thrown a lot of support to republican Islamist movements like Islamic brotherhood, that would use democracy mechanisms to consolidate power for a retrograde state. Last, Mbs's motives are economic and power related , but he has been making small " reforms". That's better than no reforms, or a chaotic revolution that would send them even further into the past as those coming to power wouldn't necessarily be "reformers" themselves. This heinous act can be judged on its own merits as totally unacceptable, and world community should demand a full investigation and repercussions - as it is doing. But I have a hard time seeing this in black and white with relationship to the players. The act itself was "bad" and that is enough to condemn it.

And what are you doing to bring him “justice” other than replying to some thread?

Really, who cares, the fool crossed a government and was possibly killed for it, NEWS FLASH, that’s how shithole countries are.

Same in Mexico, Russia, and pretty much any Central American hole.

As much as so many of you complain about the USA, you should pray that we never end up like you claim to want.

Stopping dissenting opinion that you all claim to want is the first step to what happened to him you hypocrites.

President of Turkey has an Op-Ed in today's Post calling for justice. (Not sure how to link).

The "act" itself was beyond bad. This wasn't a business deal. This was planned plotted torture and murder. Thus the "act" itself was EVIL.

"Please Don't Forget Khashoggi"
Washington Post today

The elections are over. Time to have Trump Acknowledge MSB behind this atrocity and sanction the heck out of Saudi Arabia. Turkey is releasing more info. Bring back our values. Congress needs to act on this before end if 2018.

You’re not going to get much help from the Trump rubber stamping GOP. It might have to wait until January.

Bumping this because the Administration is hoping the issue will go away.

Turkey will not let it rest either. Hopefully the Post will keep pushing too. Especially now that Trump is revoking press credentials and starting down a slippery slope re freedom of the press.

+1. We won’t let this drop. Saudi Arabia will not get to be hugged by Trump and Kushner when they kill peaceful dissidents in the most brutal of ways.

Garmany, France, UK, US and Saudi Arabia now have the tapes (today's The Guardian)

Let Jared Kushner try to defend MBS now after hearing an innocent man be assassinated on tape.

An audio recording tracking the dying moments of journalist Jamal Khashoggi inside the Saudi Consulate in Istanbul has been shared with Saudi Arabia, Britain, France and Germany in addition to the United States, the leader of Turkey said Saturday.

“We gave it to Saudi Arabia,” President Recep Tayyip Erdogan said at the Ankara airport before departing for Paris for commemorations to mark the 100th anniversary of the end of World War I. “We gave it to America. To the Germans, French, English, we gave it to all of them.”

It was the first time that Erdogan has publicly acknowledged the existence of an audio recording that Turkish officials say backs the assertion that Khashoggi, a contributor to The Washington Post World Opinions section, was killed by a 15-member Saudi hit team after he entered the consulate on Oct. 2.

Wider access to the recording could increase pressure on the Trump administration to take stronger measures against Saudi Arabia in response to Khashoggi’s killing.
