Going to start by saying Carolinas doing better than I thought. Both north (incl. RU) and south have their stud teams and minnows. Wondering how long they'll keep it like this from SC to Loudoun, but as other conferences have much farther to travel, I'd say it's just about fine.

Thought there was talk of that if a club has one in, then the other can (or should) join..? Unsure if that's just old talk, but makes a little sense. Then again, some clubs have stronger boys or stronger girls and wish to compete in appropriate league.

2-3 clubs in NC/SC would need and 2-3 more in VA would also need to be added in order to realign.

No thank you-the hs seasons in MD/Va are different seasons so this will not work.

Indeed, have to agree here. Boys can, certainly girls can. SC clubs playing with GA/AL/FL teams makes way more sense than traveling up to play many NOVA clubs. Either way, it's not as bad as other conferences. Current competition has some good rivalries.

Is 1 trip to SC really that bad? DMV girls ECNL clubs are a bit spoiled in regard to travel already considering at least 5 conference games can be played without an overnight stay.

It's not, but doesn't SC playing with GA make more sense than with NOVA? Yes. Does NOVA playing Bethesda make more sense than playing SC? Yes. That's all we're saying. Think of the cost savings over multiple clubs, multiple teams, multiple days (that's NOVA going south and SC heading north). Almost every other conference has localized their clubs better than mid-Atlantic. There are outlier clubs, sure... but Bethesda is literally minutes from some clubs, but instead they play a club a days drive away. Come on, man.

Answer this - Does it make sense for MD kids to plays HS and Club at the same time while competing against VA who are only play club. Do you not see major issues with that? If so, the conversation is over. If not, you should dig deeper to understand that various issues.

WTF are you talking about. VA kids play HS. Our entire team plays HS soccer and did an entire slate of spring ECNL games/tournaments. This whole HS junk is the lamest excuse in history. VA kids 1000000000% play HS soccer and, in the case of Colgan HS in Manassas, dominate. You've never been more wrong and lame with an excuse that is wholly weak af.
