| Apparently now is the time to look for Halloween costumes! We have done Elsa and Olaf, witch and pumpkin.. please give me some suggestions! Older DD is 6 and little brother is 3. Thanks!! |

Are there any shows or movies they like to watch together?
Moana and Maui? Or two Marvel characters? |
| Princess Leia and an Ewok |
|
Ask your 6 six year old what they want and match. Some ideas:
Ernie and bert, thing 1 and 2, winnie and piglet, sun and moon |
| We did a butterfly and caterpillar. |
| If you move away from only doing female characters for your DD it may be easier. Dog Man and Petey. Harry Potter and Hermione, or Harry Potter and Hedwig. Darth Vader and Yoda. Spider and pig for Charlotte's Web. |
| Vampire and bat, ketchup and mustard, red riding hood and wolf, Snow White and dwarf. |
| Ask the older kid what they want to do and match it. |
|
Op here. DD is very girlish and she’s not into superheroes. Every time I asked her what she wants to be, she gives me a different answer. It’s also hard to find a matching bro costume.
She’s thinking of: Ariel - it is hard to find a crab costume for a 3 year old, lots of lobster costumes though Fairy - what matches a fairy?! Black cat Witch (again) She said no to thing 1, thing 2, Cat in the Hat. |
| Why do they have to match? Let them be what they want. |
They don’t have to match but it’s cute when they do. |
| We're doing Toy Story characters for similar ages. Bo Peep or Jessie for your daughter, Buzz or Woody for your son. |
Tinker bell and Peter Pan? My daughter is r ally into Greek myths and one year tried to convince her little brother to be a person turned to stone-she wanted to pull him around on a skateboard. |
| Just let them pick their own. Let go of some of this control. |
| Geez just let her do what she wants. This is all sorts of pathetic. |
