Starting to freak out-

You claim you first had stomach cramping on 8/31. By 9/5 you had already seen a GI with no emergency symptoms. By 9/10 you had pooped in a box and already received results.

Not buying this.

Definitely. Op needs a colonoscopy and a full-body MRI, stat!

That timeline ain’t mathin. Most people can’t even get into a G.I. in that time.

OP, if you have loose stool for 4-6 weeks insist on a colonoscopy with multiple biopsies to check for Microscopic Colitis.

Ok don’t really care if you buy it. It’s not that hard to get an appointment. You pick pick up the phone an call. It’s just a random GI in Virginia. lol. When you’re pooping 5x a day it’s very easy to get a sample. Then you mail the box and voila- you have results.

No, the GI said to repeat the test in 3 weeks or have colonscopy if level stays elevated. Full body MRI isn’t needed.

Then I guess your GI is busier. Might want to find another. Or maybe mine had a cancelation. They’re amazing!

My child had E. coli and similar presentation. It never got better until we eliminated wheat, went GF.

It was as if the E. coli triggered a gluten sensitivity. It looks several week and now everything is normal again but we kept up the GF diet.

We need to repeat the calprotectin as a follow up. Sympathy to you, OP. It's very disruptive to normal life.

That's a long time to wait to see if cancer is spreading to, or originated from, other parts of the body.
