Is the good distance swimmer who was there okay? My daughter noticed yesterday she wasn't at champs, then realized she hasn't seen/raced her all season.

One of their female distance swimmers moved out of state right before the start of the year, and one of their sprinter/mid-distance girls had a surgery and is out on recovery.

NCap AU is not good, like at all-crazy they still even have that site. NCap

Prep is better but going downhill and losing swimmers.

If you can do the drive, go to Jeremy Lin. That is all you need to know about NCap

The coaches at AU are awesome and have a stellar track record. The overall site is a little down at the moment, but they’ve produced elite results for 20 years; they’ll be back.

They have not produced an elite swimmer before or since Phoebe Bacon but hey if you want to stay there do so at your peril. The site has lost like a dozen swimmers in the last three years to various clubs.

Only the sites in VA seem to be producing fast swimmers.

Here we go again going after NCAP GP. Please, the story is old and tired. Nothing has changed over the years, the site is top heavy with success and output. No site or team in the DC area compares. The swimmers outcomes speak for themselves.

Eh, I’m someone that sticks up for GP with most of the slander that goes on here, but I don’t know that you can say no site compares to GP in say the last 5 years.

Some of the VA sites also imported a number of really fast swimmers over the last few years. That list includes an Olympic Trials qualifier and spans multiple age groups.

If elite = Olympic finalist and multiple medals in World Championships, then I don't think too many PVS sites are going to have any. Who from NCAP West meets that description in the last 5 years? As far as I know, every 2024 Olympian that came up through NCAP was at NCAP-AU or NCAP-P, except for Tori Huske (who was not NCAP).

No truer analysis has been done. NCAP is the best.

Check out their 2023 graduating class. Pretty stacked group.

Over the years they have the most high end accolades like olympians, but the amount of super talented kids they lose to burnout, depression and shoulder injuries is unprecedented. The coaching staff is focused on these elite results and the ends justify the means. Good coaches care about every kid and their development, but to the NCAPP staff they are just bodies go throw at the wall and see who sticks.

The delusional DCUM caucus is back in session. The meeting of miserable parents who are deeply disappointed in their own kids will now come to order. Let the taking of vile cheap shots commence.

Serious sour grapes. This is all club sports, and swimming is a special kind of grind. Either your kid touches the wall first, or they don't.

The crazy will only escalate over the weekend.
