Why does Anne Hathaway repulse me? Anyone else?

I think you are right! Anyone see her in Modern Love? Super annoying.

I hate Anna Kendricks too - if you want to hate Anne H for trying too hard and being always "on" you gotta also hate Anna K for that.

I don’t know why exactly, but I also cannot stand her. I do find her extremely unattractive which is probably a big part of it.

I think she would be good on Broadway and in theater. But in movies she seems to be the same character just inserted into a new movie. I don’t think she can act at all so it’s just the same performance over and over and over. I do find it very confusing that she is in so many movies. Shrug.

What's a theatre kid personality?

Theatre kids often annoy me, but I actually kind of love Anne Hathaway.

Add to annoying list of celebrities with "theatre kid personalities" Kristen Chenoweth, entire voice cast of Frozen

I don’t mind Anne Hathaway, Anna Kendricks is awful though. She is fake fake fake.

Is it because she appears to always be nervous and so eager to please and overly sweet?

Ha yes I was thinking this too- the year were all on Broadway at some point right? Not sure you ever really shed that musical theater persona.

The type of personality that repeatedly asks a question that has been answered several times.

Very true. Kendricks is far less famous though. Kendricks looks like a rat and it was soooooo obvious her tweets were written by writers a few years back.

It's just a personality I've never particularly gotten along with or enjoyed. She doesn't repulse me, I just don't like her. But I can recognize she's talented and can get past my annoyance of her to enjoy the movie.

+1

What’s a theater kid personality?

Maybe this is why I’m turned off by Lin-Manuel Miranda? *ducks and runs away*

Lin is cringe. To the point of making me literally physically cringe.

She (AK) always looks like she’s on the wrong meds. I worry about her.

...because they were too busy envisioning themselves asking the question to actually listen or pay attention to the world around them. Self-absorbed to the extreme.
