| Because it happened all in one day - kiss, sex, pregnancy. All for the first time. That is sad. I would feel that was sad for a teen too. |
It was her "first kiss"...whatever! |
There is a new thread about them pretty much every week that typically goes many pages. I am sure they are the most talked about family on DCUM. Most of the talk on here is just making up shit or bashing them. It is a weird obsessions. There are lots of families out there, even many in reality TV world and somehow DCUM has become obsessed with the Duggars. I just find it odd. Reality TV is about people outside the norm and it isn't actually REALITY. watching a reality TV show doesn't actually tell you too much about the real family yet DCUMs hangs off every episode and news article as thought is truth and that they somehow really know what the Duggars think and do and why they do it because they watch the show and read the articles. I would think it equally as odd an obsession if someone followed and posted weekly about the Kardashians (insert reality TV family)'s every move. |
How do you know it happened in one day? Do you stalk them? |
Even if it did all happen in one day, it is a lot less weird than someone meeting someone for the first time ever and having their first kiss all the way through sex within hours. |
This is how marriage was done for hundreds of years. They will be fine, and are feeling anything but sad. It's weird to feel sad for someone who is very happy with their choices, simply because they aren't choices you wouldn't make. |
| No one is wistful about when it was just making out? |
I bet they did. |
Not true at all. |
Lol no it doesnt |

I don't see anything odd about it either -- they don't practice birth control, they're 23 (or she is), she's in good shape. So, she got pregnant on the honeymoon. I did too. That doesn't mean it was some weird awkward sex. If it was, that was the kind of sex my parents had (they were virgins when they were married). I kind of think the Duggar bashing is odd too. I don't share their religious or political beliefs, but they have some positive attributes too that I have even taken in (Michele Duggar saying something about praising your kid 10 times more than you scold them. That stuck with me. Everyone does better with praise).
Congratulations Jill! |
For most women 23 is when you are in your prime to get pregnant. This is how our bodies work. |
You know, it's really easy to ensure that the general public isn't scrutinizing your every move. You start by not announcing your pregnancy on the Today Show, or whatever. |
How do you know that. Are you in the bedroom with them? |
Yep, my best friend from childhood got pregnant on her honeymoon. I think she had just turned 25--her wedding was either a couple days before her birthday or a couple days after, I can't remember. |
