UMCP alum who thought the campus was very nice…then I started visiting colleges with my kids ;0) Wake Forest, Elon, and the University of Alabama are lovely. Bama has a gorgeous campus and all new buildings have a traditional feel from the outside with state of the art interiors. Duke is nice. |

Many larger schools have nice areas, which everyone cites, but they also have areas that are not so nice. Richmond is lovely top to bottom and is often overlooked. Sewanee is as well. Wellesley, Middlebury, and Mount Holyoke are also very nice, but perhaps less overlooked.

Relax. They have made many upgrades. It's a nice campus with a traditional quad. |
