I also really like Columbia
Midwest: Indiana University
South: Vanderbilt (I haven't been to many other universities in the South)
West: Not much experience with beautiful West coast universities, but I visited University of Puget Sound when I was a kid because a relative worked there. From what I remember the campus is sort of an odd architectural mix but it felt very green and lush and you can see Mount Rainier and you're near the ocean. That said, it's been a long time since so it could be my memory improved it by combining everything I saw in Puget Sound with my memory of the university.

I thought the Vanderbilt campus was atrocious.

I went to UPS and it is a pretty campus. Close to the Puget Sound, can see Mt. Rainer, and North Tacoma is mostly charming.

Western Washington U also has the beautiful view of the sound, with Mt. Baker (on clear days) in the background instead of Rainier.

West Coast
East Coast
Midwest
Other (can be another country, a place that doesn't fit any category like Texas, etc)

West Coast: Pepperdine
East Coast: University of Maryland-College Park
Midwest: U of Chicago

UMD-College Park? You need to travel more. A lot more.

The quad is really beautiful and the buildings are a nice uniform brick. It’s an unexpected green oasis in a schlumpy suburban area.

It is easy for a campus to be beautiful when the have ivy endowments and nice locations by the beach and mountains. But UMd does unexpected beauty so well.

UMBC so ugly though

UMCP alum who thought the campus was very nice…then I started visiting colleges with my kids ;0)

Wake Forest, Elon, and the University of Alabama are lovely. Bama has a gorgeous campus and all new buildings have a traditional feel from the outside with state of the art interiors. Duke is nice.

Calling USC beautiful requires you to be very near-sighted.

True.
But same with Pepperdine. You are clearly only speaking of the coastline not the campus buildings themselves.
I prefer the buildings at Pomona or Scripps, or Occidental.

The Claremont Colleges in general are beautiful....except for Mudd!!!
East coast - Cornell by a long shot....

Cornell is dreamy

Many larger schools have nice areas, which everyone cites, but they also have areas that are not so nice. Richmond is lovely top to bottom and is often overlooked. Sewanee is as well. Wellesley, Middlebury, and Mount Holyoke are also very nice, but perhaps less overlooked.

Relax. They have made many upgrades. It's a nice campus with a traditional quad.

The poster you are responding to isn't here anymore. That was two years ago.
