West Coast
East Coast
Midwest
Other (can be another country, a place that doesn't fit any category like Texas, etc)

West Coast: Pepperdine
East Coast: University of Maryland-College Park
Midwest: U of Chicago

Loved the setting of both Northwestern University in Evanston, Illinois on the shore of Lake Michigan and Middlebury College in a quintessential Vermont/New England locale. Best situated, but not necessarily the most beautiful campuses--although both are attractive.

It's much more common to be impressed by small school campuses for some reason. Davidson College in North Carolina is attractive and has a great setting.

College of Charleston, Flagler College (Florida), Berry College (Rome, Georgia), UC-Santa Barbara, Western Washington University, U Washington in Seattle, North Idaho College (2 year school) in Couer d'Alene, Idaho (borders on a gorgeous lake and a river in an upscale tourist destination).

Too many to list.

Even if the buildings are ugly, I'm a fan of most small New England schools in the fall when the leaves are changing. That truly feels like college to me.

There’s nothing quite like being on a college campus in New England in the fall. The colorful leaves, the homecoming parties, the smell of tear gas, the sound of angry co-eds screeching into bullhorns, chasing pro-Israel students across the quad….ahh, autumn.

Not bad, but somebody really screwed up with that law school building. Blech!

What??? The building is quite handsome and sits nicely.

I agree with the PP. That building is truly ugly.

Yes, 16:23, Moscow Idaho/Pullman WA. Interesting scenes. Was unexpected. This was decades ago tho it could have changed by now.

Williams - those mountains really do look purple. Even beautiful in stark winter.

Actual campus is mediocre.

There’s nothing quite like being on a college campus in the South in the fall. You never know who they are going to oppress next. They sure do keep you on your toes.

No, it's not. There is a big sports stadium smack dab in the middle of it.

That is true of many, many schools.

Northeast has many - Yale, Princeton, Vassar, Mount Holyoke, Bryn Mawr, Middlebury. West Point. Southeast doesn't have as many but Sewanee, William and Mary, Duke, W&L are some nice ones. Midwest has some overlooked ones - WashU, Chicago, Notre Dame, etc. Southwest - Rice. Mountain - Colorado, Air Force. West - Scripps, San Diego, Washington
