Golden goose sneakers still in?

I was at an event at my kids new school this week, and I noticed so many women wearing various colors/patterns of golden goose sneakers. Are these still really in style or on their way out? I’m looking for new sneakers and I think some are cute, but the price tag seems a bit outrageous. Wondering if I should splurge or if they will be out of style soon. Any other cute more affordable in style sneakers recs?

No. They've been very out for a long time. But people still wear them as a status symbol because they are so expensive.

I definitely wouldn't buy them.

Lots of other, much cheaper option that are far more in style than Golden Goose.

I would look at these over Golden Goose: Adidas Samba or Gazelle, Veja Campo, Puma Palermo, Onitsuka Tiger Mexico 66 or New York, New Balance CT302 or MR530. Hell, I'd even go for Nike Air Force 1 over Golden Goose. Or maybe Hoka.

Vejas are fine. Certainly not the cutting edge of fashion, but they aren't "out" the way Golden Goose are.
