Need a foundation that won't break me out

Almost every foundation makes me break out. I found two over the years that don't break me out but 1) Prescriptives is out of business 2) Arbonne just changed their formula and the new foundation just broke me out.

I have tried Bobbi Brown oil free and the Nars Matte Finish. Bobbi Brown broke me out horribly and just bought the Nars and I got white heads on day one.

Any ideas? I am thinking about the Laura Merier oil free.

Thanks

haven't read any of the posts -- first thought is how old are you and why would you want gunk your face up? LOL... just kidding, but not. I am 41, and the only thing I slap on my face (when I think about it) is oil of olay; I cringe at pictures of me in my twenties with eyeshadow and such... these days I just dont' give a shit

My skin is acne prone and I've tried a lot of different foundations, although probably not as many of the expensive brands as you have. I did use Clinique for a while and liked it and Bare Minerals, but I have had the most success with Avon Perfectware http://shop.avon.com/shop/product.aspx?src_page=product_list.aspx&level1_id=300&level2_id=301&pdept_id=314&dept_id=396&pf_id=31319

It's great for controlling oily skin, lasts all day and provides just the right amount of coverage. I haven't had any breakouts from it after using it for 6mo+

I also use Avon's Clearskin daily lotion. I find that my nighttime acne creams dry out my skin, yet I still have oily skin during the day. This lotion has really helped balance out my weird oily, yet dry skin issues http://shop.avon.com/shop/product.aspx?src_page=product_list.aspx&level1_id=300&level2_id=302&pdept_id=329&dept_id=675&pf_id=38428

OP, have you tried using foundations that don't have parabens? I found that parabens break me out. It's hard to find foundation without them, but the do exist.
