It’ll take a few hours for the trolls to find out their talking points.

But probably along the lines of “killing babies is disgusting/shameful/immoral”

What else can they say? Clearly it’s not in the best interests of women or society.

I think they’ll go with the “babies feel pain at 15 weeks” so we have to repeal AZ current law, which allows up to 15 weeks.

I can’t believe this is even happening at this point. Did they not just see Alabama flip a seat? How are these people so politically out of touch? Because they aren’t doing this on legal or moral grounds.

You know what is also painful? Giving birth. If "feels pain" is the standard that works both ways.

Stubbing your toe can also be painful, but probably not as painful as getting your toe pulled of your foot.

Wait, all our resident GOP trolls told us that most republicans don't support this law. Yet republicans refused (again) to repeal the law when it came up for a vote. I'm beginning to think that most republicans do in fact support this law.

I too am beginning to think this.

Wrong.

Alas, you are correct. We are already more there than we'd like to admit to ourselves.

Forced birthers have shown just how disposable life is to them.

Does the life of the mother count at all?
How close to death must she be before you think abortion is acceptable? What is your threshold for fever, blood loss, stage of cancer diagnosis where it suddenly becomes ok to abort?
Have you seriously never known anyone in your life who has suffered an ectopic, a missed miscarriage, PPROM before viability, placental abruption, fatal fetal diagnosis, etc?
Are you comfortable with saying that child victims of rape should be forced to carry pregnancies to term? You realize there's no exception in this AZ law for that, right?

Please. Slavery was so called legal at one point as well and that was wrong.

They seem to be comfortable with women dying and with 12 year olds giving birth to a rapist's baby.

Why do you people quote the Declaration of Independence and pretend it’s the Constitution?

It’s clear to me that all of these forced birthers think a woman’s life is not that important and that she can’t think on her own….you know, how it was back in 19th century.

As a woman, why should I accept that kind of thinking? What don’t they get?

You shouldn’t. But so many do. It’s insane —over 50% of white women voted for a Trump. Over 50% of Catholics voted for a man who makes fun of the disabled and pilloried refugees and the poor. 43% of families with a union member in house voted for a man that wants to destroy unions and workers’ rights. A large number of people just don’t vote in their self-interest. Obviously some have conflicting interests—some of those white women were choosing tax cuts over bodily autonomy. But most had no rational self-interested reason to vote that way. That’s what so aggravating — many people would apparently rather vote in spite for others rather than their own self interest.

To many conservatives voting for this, control and spite are worth more to them than their own rights. Many also believe God will protect them but won't protect "the wicked." They have to find out the hard way yet again.
