Disgusting blaming the Uber driver. Did she have PPD?

Any updates on this story? It's so weird and makes no sense what so ever. Where was the husband when she died?

Nothing I could find. For anyone interested in this story, you may want to check out the thread on websleuths. Nobody buys the story that the uber driver left her on the beltway.

Could you post a link? I can’t find it for some reason

Whatever the details about exiting the car, the time gap, the husband's and friend's whereabouts, etc. -- it seems so likely that alcohol is a factor here. Maybe a drunken argument in the car, or being sick in the car and then drunk walking along roads not realizing the danger, etc. Night out for the first time in a long time, overindulging, or the DH was drunk and she was sober but distressed at something said or done in the car. I hope the details come out, not out of prurient interest, but to clarify the Uber driver's role (which may be, frankly, innocent, if there was a fight/they got abusive), and to demonstrate that alcohol can end up with someone getting killed in an utterly preventable and sadly stupid way.

There is no mention of the Uber driver being at fault. They could be blaming the driver who hit her. Or a driver who may have seen her walking and failed to call it in.

It’s the internet they could have blamed martians but they blamed a driver. Didn’t give a specific name. I’m sure they already have an attorney who would have reviewed what they posted. If they go after anyone for money it will be the deep pockets of the corporation. Not some random Uber driver.

GMAFB. They are blaming the over driver for what should have been a “safe ride home”. Does your back hurt from twisting yourself into such a knot?

Yeah, seriously, WTF? The person was struck in the center lane on the Beltway. No f'ing way did they mean anyone other than the Uber driver.

Doesn’t change the fact they didn’t specifically name or blame the uber driver. Get over yourselves.

Over reactive, anxious, whiny ninnies go take a bubble bath.

Looks like the drunk lady’s family entered the chat. Y’all should really shut down your propaganda.

No updates? I think the police are working a case against the husband.

That there has been no update or further information is very odd.
