Slander cases are hard to win. Seems like the driver would lose money hiring a lawyer and trying to do this.
I am sure the driver can get an attorney on a contingency fee. The claims that this family is making, including in their own GoFundMe description, are egregious and slanderous. I hope the driver does sue.
