Wife's bad breath, doesn't shower enough

If you shower at 8am on Tuesday morning, have a bowel movement that afternoon, and then your partner wants to perform oral that evening or the following morning, you don't need to wash off the residue from the BM with soap and water first? Can't you get sick from ingesting trace amounts of the E Coli? Even if the partner isn't performing oral, won't they smell that BM residue as well as the mustiness of your private zone having been wrapped in clothing all day and sweating? I recently saw an add for a deodorant to use for under boob and private zones. Are you saying that's a useless and unnecessary product for people who want to avoid showering before intimacy? There is more going on down there that creates an odor besides the V itself.

I'm also wonder whether OP's wife always this casual about hygiene or is this something that changed over the years?

The best thing I ever did was get a bidet to replace our regular toilet seat. It has warm water and even a drying function. You can clean thoroughly after a BM with it, so no second shower that day is needed before intimacy.

And the thing is, high disgust response is a sexually dimorphic trait, one that is usually found in women. As such, women are majorly turned off by "squeamish" men- it comes off as not very heterosexual or masculine. A guy who cant get erection because his wife only showered a few hours ago instead of minutes before? Very unattractive. You may want to check if you have low T, OP. I know my boyfriend is all over me on the few days when I dont shower first thing in the morning. If we're lazily laying in bed and it's been over a day since my shower, and you can start smelling the natural "scent", he goes crazy for it, to put it in PG terms. I would say most high sex drive men are like this, so you're truly making yourself look like a bit of a loser.

mm if there's one thing the screams "gay" it's not a wanting sex.

Not for me. I’m a woman and I usually shower twice a day. I do workout in during the day, so I guess that makes sense. Waxing is also a must. I got a wax 6 weeks postpartum after each of my three kids. And I work full time. I’m not a SAHM.

Your wife may be depressed or she may not be that into you right now or she may have serviceable but not great hygiene. Broach this gently with her but broach it.

Keeping things trim and clean? Gross. Don't police her pubic hair. It exists in its natural state for a reason. it helps trap bacteria dn other things before they get to the vagina.

I actually had a date text me to say I had bad breath. Reading that text was embarrassing , but I went to the dentist a few days later and scheduled a Star Wars laser beam teeth cleaning. It took two visits. It included a lot of gum work. The dentist said I had minor gum disease that made my breath smell bad. Much better now.

Waterpik/ oral irrigation. Washes away food particles that cause bad breath. After brushing w electric brush, there are still food particles in my mouth that it removes. Great for gum health too.
