The point of the story seems to be to suggest that the White House leaked her name to Whelan because Ford sent the email recording Whelan's attempt 90 minutes after the Post revealed her name to the White House.

The story simply is not plausible and does not line up with the Post's original story breaking her name as it is clear from that her name was out there a few days earlier, the reason given for her deciding to go public on Sunday.

This is an effort on the part of the Wapo reporters to establish a link between Whelan and the White House. It does not succeed.

She sent an email Sunday morning noting he had looked at her LinkedIn page (guess he is too old to know about private mode). Do you think she knew five days in advance that he would write a wackadoodle twitter thread?

Interesting. Major news sources have pretty consistently said her Linked In was deleted but an archived version provides information about her. Some quoted her friends as saying she deleted all her social media.

You have to have a Linked In to understand the internet?

The most computer savvy person I know is an independent contractor who works as an internet investigator for the government. No Linked In account, but she loves that people leave so many great leads for her on their accounts.
