Yes it’s obvious she was frightened of the consequences of her letter, and the death threats against her have proven her justified in that. I’ve had therapists and doctors write down things incorrectly. Sounds to me like therapist heard there were 4 others at party and wrote that number down for the attack. |
These things are not always clearly planned ahead of time. She could have just wanted Feinstein to have the information to use confidentially, with the understanding that there was a risk of leaking. |
I hope she is asked about this at her testimony, if she shows. Her intentions in mailing this letter are not clear and are questionable. |
Only to you! |
Why is she still stalling? |
No - to many of us. There are many questions about her intentions. Not only surrounding her mailing of the letter, but other actions she has undertaken like scrubbing her social media, hiring an attorney, and taking a polygraph. |
Uh, maybe because psychos are sending her death threats and trying to hack into her online accounts? What exactly is wrong with “scrubbing” your social media info? You are not entitled to it. She’s already reported these to the FBI. If I had explosive info about a famous public figure that called into question their fitness for office, I’d also minimize my online presence |
You have seen the beginning of the fallout from this given the connections between Whelan/CRC and Grassley's office, right? https://twitter.com/WarfareNavel/status/1043507877950967809 I mean, another couple of hours and likely people from Hatch's office will need to resign too. This whole thing stinks to high heaven, but the GOP has taken what should have been a routine allegation to contain and is in the process of turning into a pretty significant stain on the Senate. |
Pschos are also sending death threats to Kavanaugh's wife. I feel sorry for the daughters. |
Really, you think a middle school teacher would give permission to accuse him of attempted rape? How much would you have tp pay the teacher to ruin his career so Kavanaugh could get a lifetime appointment to the Supreme court? I doubt Whelan even bothered to tell the teacher about the impending twitter accusations. That teacher counted for nothing to him, except for his value in getting Kav off the hook. |
But you're forgetting that Bart is a douche. |
It's not just their stupidity that's frightening, it is their immorality. These are men who fundamentally believe that the ends justify the means. Need to lie to get on the court? Sure they'll do it. Need to throw a former classmate current middle school teacher under the bus? Sure they'll do it. Need to abdicate their responsibility to conduct real hearings on advise and consent? Sure they'll do it. Need to hypocritically "plough through" by any means necessary to make lightening fast appointment of highly unpopular nominee? Sure he'll do it. That my friends is a group of men, many of whom are lawyers, that simply have no moral compass or integrity. That is frightening. |
She won’t report it to the police now either |
I wondered if the Ethics & Public Policy Center was going to fire Ed Whelan and see he is the president. It is described as being, "dedicated to applying the Judeo-Christian moral tradition to critical issues of public policy, and advocacy of founding principles such as the rule of law."
What would Jesus think? |
Kavanaugh needs to be asked what did he know and when did he know it about "this slimy smear campaign." Because if he had anything to do with it he would be disqualified from being on the Supreme Court.
