Discover The Primary Day School at our last Open House of the season. Childcare and refreshments will be provided while you explore our unique school. There are opportunities to talk with faculty, parents, and alums while learning more about our signature programs: Phonovisual, World Languages, STEM, Balanced Literacy, Math, Art, and Music. If you are unable to attend this Open House, please call (301-365-4355) or email (Admission@ThePrimaryDaySchool.org) to set up an individual tour of the school during the week. The National Capital Trackers O Gauge Railroad Club and Baltimore Area N-Trak train club offer an exciting and very popular event in Kensington, MD! See our large, intricate toy train display and the smaller display by BANTRAK, learn about Kensington and Montgomery County History, and much more! A very popular event that supports the Kensington Historical Society and the Noyes Children's Library. Fun for all ages. In addition to the trains... SATURDAY: Dixie Land Express Band from 12-1:30 p.m. SUNDAY: Railroad songs and stories by Matthew Dodd from 1-4 p.m. THE TRAIN DOCTOR: Bring your trains & repair questions. The National Capital Trackers O Gauge Railroad Club brings our model train display to the College Park Aviation Museum in College Park MD Labor Day Weekend. Trains run from 10-5 Saturday - Monday September 3, 4 and 5. College Park is the oldest continuously operating airfield in the world. Washington Youth Garden -- Family Garden Day

Family Garden Day is a time for all members of the community and their families to join Washington Youth Garden staff to experience the garden with fun games, crafting activities, garden tours, and everyone's favorite garden veggie tastings. Depending on what's growing you may even get a chance to prepare a snack right at the garden and even take home the veggies you used to make it. All ages are welcome. We'll meet you at the garden! Don't forget to bring your smiles!
