Fairfax County Adult Continuing education in partnership with Let Mommy Sleep Newborn Care offers this 1-day, evidence based education for caregivers and parents caring for newborns age 0-3 months, including: diapering, basic breastfeeding, swaddling, postpartum care of parents, SIDS safety and more. The certificate class is for Nannies, Home Health Aides, LPN's and CNA's working privately or with home care agencies. Students receive certificate of completion from Fairfax County upon successful completion of this class. This is the only class of it's kind recognized with a county certificate. Strike Out Slavery is advancing its mission of educating baseball fans about modern-day slavery by partnering with the Washington Nationals and pitcher Stephen Strasburg to host an awareness festival before the August 23, 2018 game, and a postgame concert featuring Nick Jonas.
