Our Montessori school in Bethesda is located on the border of Upper NW DC and MD on Western Avenue between River Road and Massachusetts Avenue. We offer an authentic Montessori education for preschool and kindergarten children within a mixed age classroom. The curriculum focuses on helping to nurture the development of the whole child, while our small school size allows for individualized and caring attention. As Dr. Montessori once said, "The environment must be rich in motives which lend interest to activity and invite the child to conduct ones own experiences."
