Next Steps: A Dyslexia Family Networking Forum is hosted by the DC Capital Area Branch of the International Dyslexia Association (DCIDA) in different locations throughout the metro area with the goal of helping parents navigate the world of testing, IEP/504 accommodations, and game-changing interventions. We will have four experts present on neuropsychological testing, parents' legal rights to in-school support, critical elements of an effective reading intervention, and the top ten study skills for academic achievement.
