In the DC metro area, one in five students is dyslexic, and three in five lack reading proficiency (NAEP, 2015). To meet their true potential, students need direct, explicit instruction in the structure of the English language so they can read, spell, and write accurately and efficiently. For parents, knowledge is key to becoming empowered advocates. So please join us for a morning of information-sharing, support, and community-building. Meaningful change is within our reach if we take the next steps.
