Award-winning and inspirational documentary "2e: Twice Exceptional" follows the lives of several twice exceptional teens, their families and the educators and professionals who work with them. Twice Exceptional - gifted with a learning difference or disability. They're clever, creative and experience conflict in their own minds or interacting with others. This film tells their story and makes it clear these kids can be the ones who change the world - if the world could only understand them and allow them to reach their boundless potential.

On May 2, With Understanding Comes Calm, LLC in partnership with SENG (Supporting the Emotional Needs of the Gifted) brings “2e: Twice Exceptional” to the Silver Spring Civic Center. The evening includes this incredible film, as well as relevant exhibitors (schools and services aimed at this population), free giveaway bags with loads of resources, a free raffle (for goods and services) and time to mingle with parents, professionals and educators who “get it.”
