+1. Had an mb that couldn't go to lunchtime daycare date with oldest charge but I'd catch her cruising by the park to make sure I was actually pushing swings for the youngest. Unreal. About as bad as the parents that act like they don't and can't make time to do certain things on the weekend while they have their kids but expect the nanny to do all the errands etc while they have the kids and get dinner on the table |
Ridiculous! You have to realize at some point that those saying "mind your own children" would put nannies out of work, right? How does that serve you as a nanny? As a nanny, I , too, welcome my employers to check up on me anywhere, anytime. It would make asking for a raise much easier of they saw me playing with their baby in the park while all the other nannies are ignoring their toddler charges and texting furiously on the park bench. |
