Any parent who would use a cloth diaper in this day and age is just off her rocker in my opinion, but this is just my own opinion and I am just an anonymous person on a public forum who is conversing with a million or more people internationally on the huge World Wide Web.
Why should any of you really care what I think about anything?? It's all about context people....Context. Speaking of absorbing...I had my period one day and couldn't get to the store so I grabbed one of my son's Pull-ups to tide me over. Did you know those damn things don't absorb blood at all...?????!!! I'm sure you all could have done without having to know this information. Happy Monday to all of you!~

No she doesn't, unless she also wants to wash and iron cloth diapers. Otherwise, she is hoisting a whole lot of extra work on the parents without their consent. Millions of parents use disposables without any hint of rash. |
Do you take pleasure in being mainstream for the sake of being mainstream? |
I am glad you find conservation funny. I'm also glad you've never been in the financial position to afford nothing but cloth diapers. |
The nanny can practice conservation on her own dime. I too am glad I've never been in that financial position. |
I take pleasure in using convenient things, which disposable diapers are. |
OMG - I laughed out loud at this. The pull-up info is definitely new, and surprising, information. Thx for the laugh! |
Do you take pleasure in having a landfill in your backyard? |
It's not in MY backyard. |
It should be. |
+1 How irresponsible can you be? |
| Guys, guys. Can I just give this thread fifty seven stars? Because this is what internet was invented for. |
Any nanny who insists on cloth diapers should be required to also wash and iron them. We hire nannies to reduce our workload, not increase it. |
You don't iron diapers! |
Washing the cloth diapers was one of my nanny duties. It took roughly the same amount of time and energy as washing the children's laundry. Aside from carrying a few more supplies around when we went on outings, cloth diapers were more of a hassle than disposable (which were always an option in a pinch!). If everyone is on board, it's a perfectly reasonable option, and one that many people are returning to. |
