Nanny here. I used to share private info with my employers but at some point I have realized I should be more professionnal and keep it that way. We are not friends after all so small talk is fine but you can't force people to bond more than the daily chats.

If you are that concerned about her social life and you claim to love her, why are you not inviting her out or involving her in family events? Seems like you just want to judge her. Trust me, you do not love her. If you did this thread wouldn't exist.
