Put yourself in her shoes, she came in early for you and stayed later as you had an appointment. She didn't have her usual fun day with healthy children. She had a long day with poorly children which is stressful and upsetting as you want to help them and take it all away but you can't. Then you come home and really you should have thanked her straight away for staying later and apologused for being late. That's probably why she snapped. She felt unappreciated and her life and time not respected by you.

You are a horse!s atse, OP. if you are not a troll, I hope she finds another job and leaves you. Why couldn't your husband look after hos kids so nanny could have left on time? He wasn't that sick or you should have stayec home.
