If you really want to keep this nanny, I would get her some therapy. I know it sounds crazy but we did this for a similarly jealous and insecure woman in my company. Even a kind of "couples counseling". Your nanny has some issues that are not going to resolve with just another talk from you. Or warn her one last time and then fire her if she does it again. Here's a thought, if you want to keep the nanny> New rules :you pay the sitters for time worked and the unworked (or guaranteed) portion they get at the end of X months/year, whatever your expectation of tenure is. The nanny's new contact includes some hook that rewards her if the babysitter makes it to the end of X months/year (as determined above). |
