The nose thing would annoy me. Buy some boogie wipes and tell her that you know he doesnt like to have his nose wiped but if she could use the wipes when she sees he needs it that would be great.
When you ask her to take him somewhere does she already have plans to do something else? Can we have an example?
+1. Just tell her to wipe the nose. And repeat. And repeat.
My nanny often forgets and is not proactive, things that one would think come naturally in the course of caring for a child. Plus she is messy. But I also know she's trustworthy. I decided to let a lot go. You have to pick what you can live with, unless you want to increase the pay a lot and get a different pool of candidates who are more dedicated and look to this as a profession.
