Sorry, OP. If you are a Mormon, I do not want you teaching my kids. Period. End of discussion.

Yeah that would be the big Mormon church and all those assholes who spread hate and contributed $$ to a campaign of hatred. People who don't even live in California sent money to the moron church becaude they didn't believe in gay marriage. If you want to live like that, move to Utah and be a nanny on a commune.
This post is so full of hate I don't know where to begin. How about leading by example for starters. Prop 8 failed because the voters voted against it. There aren't enough mormons in California to single handedly affect the outcome of an election. California is ground zero for liberalism which should tell you something about the way Americans felt about gay marriage at that point in time. When people know better they do better.

Not wanting to appear as a sock puppet, I'm posting again. (I posted above twice). This makes me so angry. You obviously don't know what you are talking about. There were huge protests in front of the Mormon church in LA, and yes I was there and no I am not gay. Mormons/Gays is a huge issue and I'm sorry you live in a bubble and aren't aware of that.

You're right. And ALL Jews hate Palestine. ALL Catholics are pedophiles. ALL Muslims are secretly members of ISIS. ALL Baptists actually belong to Westboro.

And Christians don't kill, steal, or cheat on their wives.

The moral of this post is that if you voluntarily belong to group A, which spreads hate about group B, don't expect members of group B to be delighted about hiring you.

With the exception of explaining a portion of your clothing (ie. hijab or no pants), I don't feel it's required to talk about my religion with my NF. However, there are plenty of NFs that select based on religion or the lack thereof, and if that is one of their criteria, I always answer. I am agnostic; while I am not comfortable working for a family that prays every half hour, I have helped children learn prayers for school and made sure they said grace. I'm also not comfortable working with atheists who teach children to spout scientific "proof" that there is no higher power, even when the children aren't old enough to understand a word they are saying.

agreed. Atheists are the WORST. They're so smug and think they know everything when they actually know nothing. Science is only as good as the person interpretting the data, which we know changes constantly as we learn more. Things we just KNEW 20, 50, 100, 1000 years ago have been proven false over time. There is no possible way you can prove God doesn't exist. None.

Maybe if you read the Bible you would understand.
