Op here. You all so very much appreciate. I'm not patient because I don't want to work for them any more but I don't want to quit. I already make $20/h and working 50h a week and I wouldn't accept less than $5 /h extra for the newborn. I wanna use it as an excuse to leave the job and cannot wait till we have that conversation !!!

Well, that's pretty rude of you. if you don't want to work for them, just quit. It sounds like you want an excuse so you can squeeze them for more cash (5$/hr extra is insane for a new baby) and severance.

Apparently, you don't have a good relationship or you wouldn't conduct yourself so poorly.

In answer to your question, yes, it is very normal for anyone to avoid disclosing a pregnancy at four months.

If you don't want to work for them anymore, just quit - you're a grown person and a master of your own destiny. You don't need excuses to leave the job. Own your feelings and do what you want to do anyway.

OP here. Most of you must be so miserable. I know it's hard to swallow that a lot non native English speakers make as much or even more than you. Most of Americans don't even speak any other language. Guess what? My writting skills are good enough to make $60000 and I am so happy! Be jealous and let me enjoy my wonderful life!
