Funny how you make these assumptions about people you don't even know. My two nannies have both been gentle, religious women who love children. Maybe you need to hang around a different group of people.

I'm sure that my bosses would also describe me similarly. It doesn't mean that I'm above frustration. I would never say it within earshot, or even voice it out loud, but yes children have a special ability to work the nerves of the people who love and care for them. I dismiss most of it as part of being a kid, but there are days where they make me want to run away lol! Can you as a mom honestly say that you haven't had days where your child doesn't annoy the crap out of you? Nannies, even gentle religious ones are not immune to frustration either.
