Are you actually traveling in the snow? If not, you can't understand why she'd be peeved? I get that you have to work, but the situations aren't really the same. Of course that pisses her off. |

| We live five minutes from each other each connected by a major road that's always plowed . So no don't get why she gets peeved. I have had to haul it to meetings in worse conditions . |

Nanny here. My MB is making me come in today too. Her university is closed and DB works for the gov. This is frustrating because I live a distance away from them and have to take bus/metro. So usually it takes me 1 hour (one way) but today could take 2. Sucks! |

MB and I talked this morning - if their road is plowed by 10 then I'll go in for a few hours so she can get some work done. I live off a main road and it's been plowed since 6 AM so it's all her call

| Some of the Mb's on this board are heartless. I tried going to work 30 minutes away last time it snowed. I got in a car accident. |

| My office is closed today so I told the nanny she didn't have to come in. DH has to work though and my office could have easily been open so then she would have had to come in. |
