White nannies in the Silver Spring area? RSS feed

Anonymous
Hi I was wondering if there were any white nannies in the Silver Spring area (DC)? I'm fairly new to the area (have been living/working as a nanny here for less than one year).

How is this racist? If OP had askec for AA or Hispanic nannies, would you still scream RACIST? No. You would not.

Yes. That would also be inappropriate.

If she specified a language group, that would be acceptable. Country of origin? Tolerable. Skin color? Racist.

Why white

AA is a skin color, not a "country of origin". My brown skin-toned friend from Germany gets called AA all the time. She thinks it's hilarious because she knows she's German.

OP Here - I was not trying to be hurtful or racist nor do I have anything against other races. Why is everyone so sensitive? Whatever the reason, I apologize if I offended anyone.

To all of you screaming racist, my German friend says that every time someone (black or white) calls her AA based on her skin-tone, THEY are racist. How would you explain that? Do you all admit to being racist?

This is why "black" is now considered a less offensive label than AA, but that is a relatively new development so we can forgive people who need to be corrected. It isn't at all the same thing.

But if anyone posted asking for African American nannies no one would say this was racist. So sick of people playing the race card, get fucking over it.
