There's no legal requirement to pay for federal holidays or give time and a half (outside of normal OT requirements)

Definitely would recommend to bosses to give this benefit, but for nannies out there, don't assume if it hasn't been specified!

Yep, I have it off paid (LOVE my bosses) and I always have Fridays off so I'm looking forward to a 4 day weekend with my sweetie! We're homebodies so I'll probably spend it crafting, snuggling, and watching Arrested Developement!!!

I have Monday and Tuesday off, getting to leave early on Friday. Only I have nothing to do! We may go north to visit family but Geesh I have been so anti social now that I have a chance to I have nothing to do.

Yes, and planning on going to the movies! And it's a good movie release weekend too - Epic (with my nephew) Fast and Furious 6 or Hangover 3? Difficult choices hehe.
