| OP why exactly won't the nanny get vaccinated? |
|
Definitely let her go .
I require flu and tdap in my nanny contracts this is no different |
There is more and more evidence it prefers spread. Try to read the newspaper! |
What do you mean by “prefers” spread? |
You can still harbor the virus in your nose but you are less likely to spread it. Show me an article that says it prevents spread entirely by a fully-vaccinated person. |
If nanny chooses not to get vaccinated for no real medical reason what do we do, we are both fully vaccinated now and have 2 elementary age children.
No vaccination no job. No one will hire her so tell her get the shot or goodbye. Lots of great nannies out there looking for work. |

No question, I would let her go. |
|
We would have no choice but to fire the nanny. Nannies are going to have a very, very hard time finding jobs if they cannot prove they’re covid vaccinated.
No one wants this pandemic over more than parents of young children. |
| I would let her go. There are plenty of wonderful vaccinated nannies looking for employment. |

Someone will hire her if she’s a good nanny with good references. I know several nannies that have been hired without getting the flu shot or tdap. Guess what, everyone survived. |
| WHY WON'T THE NANNY GET VACCINATED?????? Can someone please answer this question for me. I mean the nanny OP is referring to. |
I think it’s a typo for “prevents”. |
| Fire her. |
We aren’t in the middle of a flu or pertussis pandemic where over half a million Americans have died in a year. You’re nuts if you think refusing the covid vaccine isn’t going to end a nanny’s career for the next few years. |
