Professional nannies should know how to dress appropriately. Your kid's big sis type of nanny might not know, so you need to train her in proper attire.

Doesn't sound like you have a mature professional in your nanny. You have an immature 20 year old with poor decision making skills and zero decorum. I didn't even dress like that as a teenager. Either you have respect for yourself and others or you don't. Clearly, most of the nannies responding here don't. Mid thigh shorts are easy to come by and look a lot better. I would mention it to her. Offer to buy a couple of pair. She's not just representing herself, she's representing your family and wherever you're from as well.

It's just unacceptable. I believe this is the last vacation she is taking with our family. The last vacation we took with her she dressed very decent but didn't want to do her job. I talked to her after we returned, was remorseful and all and I decided to give her a second chance.

She loves going on vacations because she earns X 2.5 more a week, and all expenses paid including meals of her choice. I can manage vacations without her or hire a local sitter if need be so it will be her loss not mine.
